Buencafé products receive Superior Taste Award


We are proud to inform our customers that two of our freeze-dried instant coffee products, Gurmetti Scandinavian and Roasted Instant Gurmetti Viennese, have been Awarded the Superior Taste Award with two Golden Stars by the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) for their outstanding taste and quality. After being assessed for First Impression, Vision, Smell, Taste, and Final Sensation.
The iTQi is a Brussels-based world leading organization dedicated to tasting and promoting superior quality food products that works in association with fifteen of the most prestigious culinary institutions in Europe, such as Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, the Academy of Culinary Arts and the United Kingdom, the Académie Culinaire de France, among others. Products are tested on a blind basis (without any packaging or identification) by a large panel of judges, including chefs and sommeliers, of different nationalities.
Every year, the iTQi awards the Superior Test Award to food and drink products available on a retail basis that excel in quality and taste, differentiating them from the other products in the market as top-quality products that will meet and exceed the expectations of the consumers. This makes the award a unique international recognition of the hard work of the producers of food and drink products.
